    +++ JANUARY 2010 - SAD NEWS --- my friend Mathias Oppersdorf OMP 183949 has passed away. He taught me quite a bit about photography and how to see ... I will miss you, my friend. +++

    Making beautiful images of interesting people is what fuels my photography. What makes a person interesting and makes me want to capture them on film? That is the simple question that seems so hard to answer. And that is the beauty of it all. Searching for that answer.

    I delight in working with experienced models and also with novices. I am fond of ones in the middle too! Everyone is an individual at heart and making that individual print that captures their essence is the challenge.

    Doctors practice medicine, I practice photography much the same way ... cerebral, but with emotion thrown in, and one day at a time. It works well!
